WU-LU BLAME/TEN

South London musician and producer Wu-Lu announces his long awaited debut album Loggerhead, with a dark and heavy double single 'Blame/Ten'. Much like his previous releases, the tracks are restless and hard to fit into a single genre. A distinctly punk energy runs through them with experimental rap production, deep bass synths and pummelling drums giving way to sparse piano chords and feedbacking guitars as Wu-Lu's distinctive shouted vocals wrestle with a deep internal struggle: “‘Blame’ is about a breakdown in communication between my inner voice and external voice, and a situation that arose which led me to end a relationship.” The tracks are accompanied by a stunning video directed by photographer and director Denisha Anderson, check it out below. Preorder a copy of Loggerhead on bandcamp now, set for release on WARP Records on the 8th of July. -Toby Evans-Jesra
